"Was told $25 to change tire. Arrived and was told bill was now $94. Cashier was rude and demeaning when explaining the reason. “Well you didn’t buy the tire from us”. When asked how it goes from 25 to 94 because of tire not being purchased there she was even more rude that she was busy and didn’t have time to explain how corporations work. Another employee jumped in to go over bill. He said I should feel lucky because I got a new tube so I’ll be safe. Problem is, they didn’t call me to ask if I wanted a tube or even to let me know. What if I didn’t have the money for the tube? I’d have to ask them to wait and I’d do it at a later date. To assume that is not great customer service. He then also said “technically” they are supposed to change the tubes all the time. So inadvertently, he admitted to not always doing their job correctly. And I’m supposed to be happy that they started on mine.
The lack of transparency, ineffectiveness of customer service and the out right rude attitude of employees was the last straw. You have lost a customer for life. Harley Davidson about 2 miles away, JP Cycles.com and amazon will now have every dollar I spend on bike parts. Cycle Gear can fold and go out of business for all I care. "

They knowledgeable about their products and polite in explaining the products. I had a lot of questions when buying a $700.00 helmet and they all were helpful.
